In its continued efforts to engage youth in constructive and sporting activities, *Ganderbal Police* today inaugurated the *Police Premier Football Tournament* under the Civic Action Program at *Govt. Physical Education College Gadoora, Stadium.*
The *Tournament* was formally inaugurated by *SSP Ganderbal Shri Khalil Ahmad Poswal-JKPS.* On the occasion, Principal Govt. Physical Education College, Gadoora Dr. Showkat Hussain, Dy.SP Hqr’s Ganderbal Shri Umer Urfan-JKPS, Dy.SP DAR DPL Ganderbal Shri Altaf Khan-JKPS, along with other senior police officers, were present.
A total of *16 Teams* from across the district are participating in the tournament, reflecting the enthusiasm and sporting spirit among the youth of Ganderbal. The *Inaugural Match* was played between *FC Manigam and Comrade FC,* marking an energetic start to the tournament.
Speaking on the occasion, *SSP Ganderbal* emphasized the importance of sports in promoting discipline, teamwork, and a healthy lifestyle among youth. He reiterated that such initiatives aim to strengthen police-public relations and provide a positive platform for young talent to showcase their abilities.
